During the months of November and December we offer two night minimum stays at £150/night.
We ask for a 20% deposits to secure your chosen dates with the remaining balance payable 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
Discount available for stays during March - December if not wishing to use the hot tub. Please email for details.
Travel Instructions:
Calmac Ferries - Early bookings are essential for the busy seasons.
Car ferry available from Ullapool to Stornoway (Lewis) (2h 30m). Drive from Stornoway to the property is approx. 1h 20m.
Ferry also available from Uig (Skye) to Tarbert (Harris) (1h 40m). Drive time from Tarbert to the property is approx. 20m.
Flights to Stornoway airport also available from Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester.
Cancellation Policy:
If anyone is unable to take up their booking for any reason, cancellations should be notified as soon as possible.
We recommend you take out holiday insurance to cover the event of cancellations etc as we do not offer refunds unless we are able to secure another booking for that period.
Any refunds given would incur a £50 deduction for administration costs and any discounts needing to be applied to secure a replacement booking would be deducted also. However, we would happily offer to transfer your holiday to a future available date within 18 months.
Adverse Travel Conditions:
Where there are ferry/plane disruptions due to bad weather conditions, any form of industrial action, covid or technical issues, Dun Borve Bothy cannot be held responsible for non-arrival or departure and no refunds will be given. Should you need to stay longer we would endeavour to try to assist with finding other accommodation for you. You would be responsible for the full cost of any alternative accommodation. We strongly advise that all guests have travel insurance to cover for this eventuality should it arise.
